Balanced SAHAMATI a national level NGO envisioning for the equitable development has clearly traced out three subjective working areas. Among these areas Economic Development is one under which two programs are being launched at present.

As per the national data of Nepal in the one hand about 40% people in the nation are still struggling under the poverty line and in the other hand the influence of other developed countries' luxurious life in using costly goods, clothes, vehicles and home appliances has been deep rooted and that has resulted the increment of poverty day by day. Additionally, the gap between the poor and the rich is getting larger. Most of the Nepalese people hardly know about the importance of local resources, its utilization and mobilization as well. They are not much known about the potentiality of themselves.

To uplift this status of Nepalese people, non-governmental organizations like SAHAMATI have been established to play a vital role in complementing the development process of the government. Internalizing this fact SAHAMATI has been launching its various activities under different areas but the main motto is to make the people economically independent through awareness building and empowerment. Specifically under this unit two programs are in practice at present:
